Parents, Students & Community Members:  Please check this page often for updates as we get more information from the Texas Education Agency and the Governor's office.

Parents and Guardians:  Your household may be eligible to receive Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits to buy food.  P-EBT is for children 5-18 years old who received SNAP food benefits for the month of March 2020, and for children up to 21 years old who are certified for free or reduced-price meals at school in Texas during the 2019-20 school year.  This is a one-time benefit.  Families can receive up to $285 per eligible child, issued through an EBT card (like a debit card). If you received SNAP benefits in March 2020, the P-EBT has already been loaded on your SNAP card.  If you don't receive SNAP benefits but your child(ren) qualify for free or reduced price meals, then you should apply.  The application is open until June 30.  Fill out an application here.
